| In Space Nobody Can Hear You Scream! In deep space, the crew of commercial spaceship 'Nostromo' awake early from their cryo-sleep. A distress signal from an unknown source has caused the ship's computer to alert them... They have no choice but to investigate a distress signal - it's an unwritten law of space travel. The signal comes from an alien spaceship - crashed on a barren, desolate planet. A landing-crew leaves the Nostromo - and finds its way into the alien ship. There are no alien survivors - just a lot of strange eggs. As crew member Cane examines one of the eggs, a creature erupts from inside and fixes itself to his face. Unable to free Cane, the landing crew decide to take him back to the Nostromo. One of the crew - Ripley, is opposed to this idea. She refuses to allow any alien creature on board - it is against quarantine regulations. The ship's captain, Dallas, orders Ripley to open the doors - Cane will die if they can't get this thing off! But Ripley refuses. The deadlock is broken by science-officer, Ash. He opens the Nostromo's doors. It is a BIG mistake! Alien is a fabulous movie! The suspense is unrelenting.
