Blade Runner

The Director's Cut

Blade Runner
The Director's Cut
Man has created "Replicants" - highly sophisticated human clones.
They serve in "The Colonies" - harsh places far from Earth.
They do the dirty work. They are prostitutes, servants, mine-workers and soldiers.

They are stronger than humans, and often more intelligent.
They have the ability to think for themselves.
And they have emotions.

What they don't have - is time.

Humans - aware of how dangerous replicants could be, have included a safety mechanism
in the cloning process. A short lifespan. After four years - replicants die.

Sometimes replicants decide to stop doing the dirty work.
When that happens - they become dangerous and must be destroyed.
Blade-Runners are employed to track down and kill renegade replicants.

Deckard (Harrison Ford) is a Blade-Runner.

His assignment  - to find and kill a group of renegades who have hijacked a spaceship and returned
to Earth. They have served humans well. They have slaved and whored and fought for us.
Now they want more time - they are not ready to die just yet.

They plan to meet their maker - the scientist who designed them.

They have nothing to lose.
And they will slaughter anyone who stands in their way.
Make sure you get The Director's Cut
(it is vastly superior to the original version)
