But there were some reservations once they got to grips with them. In a head to head comparison with Mizuno's MP53,
Taylor Made came out second best. Our testers preferred the Mizuno's thinner top-line, better balance, and overall crisper
line. This may be slightly unfair, because the Mizuno is a true modern classic, and very few clubs can compare with it.
Fortunately, the Taylor Made CB was more than a match for the Mizuno in terms of performance - providing a powerful,
penetrating flight, and slightly more distance than its main opposition. Feel was good, but again not in Mizuno class.

Our verdict
A terrific golf club, stylish, powerful, well made, and pretty good value for money.
But given the choice only die hard Taylor Made fans would buy these clubs in preference to the Mizuno MP 53 or Mp 63.
