The main cause of IBS

The best way to deal
with stress is by
learning how to
meditate for at least
20 minutes a day.
Also learn stress
management.
Diet is also a
main cause of IBS.
Try to avoid all raw
foods, as your digestive
system has to work
harder. Try to avoid
dairy products. Try to
avoid stimulants also.
And drink plenty of
water.
Plantain is very good
for ibs. Use the
plantain by adding
1oz of the leaves to 1
pint of water. Boil up
and leave to infuse
for up to 10minutes.
Then split the drink
into 3 and drink
through-out the day.

into your abdomen.

women). Or you can buy
bottles of aloe vera which
has been specially formulated
for the constipation side of
ibs. The juice of the aloe is
said to be very helpful for lots
of digestive problems. It can
be found in most health food
shops.
Peppermint
Is said to ease flatulence
and indigestion and to
relieve painful spasms. The
best time to take it either by
freshly picking the leaves, or
using tea bags or by taking
tablets,(which are available
in most health shops).
Fenugreek-Diarrhoea
To use this herb,
make an infusion
with 1oz of the dried
herb to 1pint of
water. Leave to
infuse for up to
10minutes. Then
split the pint into 3
doses and drink
throughout the day.
