| Jack Crow (James Woods), and his team are modern-day vampire slayers in America's south west. They destroy their prey by entering their 'nests' while the vampires are sleeping, spearing them with harpoons attached to steel cables and dragging them into the sunlight - where they burst into flames. They are good at their jobs - and for a while at least, the vampires are the victims. But everything changes when they destroy the nest of "Master" vampire, Valek. Crow's team roast several of Valek's underlings - pissing Valek off big-time! They are celebrating their success in a wild party - when Valek arrives - hell-bent on revenge. He massacres the entire team, only Crow and his trusty side-kick survive. The survivors are shocked and puzzled. What is a vampire of Valek's power and significance doing in this part of the world? Accompanied by a novice-priest (who knows the answer) and a Valek-bitten prostitute, (who is telepathically linked to the Master) they set off on a mission to put things right. |
