The Lost Boys is everything that Blade Trinity aspires to be - and more. It is cool, it is trendy, and it appeals to the wider audience that Blade Trinity is so clearly aimed at. But, unlike Blade Trinity, it does it all in a totally relaxed, totally natural way. There is no patronising of the audience here - no transparent trickery to con the youngsters into liking it. That kind of thing is cynical, it is weak, and it doesn't work! The Lost Boys is a great story, brilliantly told - pure and simple! It is a roller-coaster ride from beginning to end, and it has no weaknesses. |
