Asus (AsusTek) is a Taiwanese multi-national company.
They are one of the world's largest computer component
manufacturers. Asus build some of the most reliable, most
powerful and most stylish desktop computers on the market.

The Asus ET2400XVT pictured left is capable of displaying
games, movies and pictures in impressive 3D.

The Intel Core i7-740QM chip provides massive computing
power, there’s a powerful graphics chip onboard - so gaming
is excellent. The machine provides 6GB of RAM, a 1TB hard
disk and a Blu-ray drive. The speakers are powerful, and
sound quality is excellent.

The screen, however, is a bit of a let-down. Colours seem too
bright, and reds are too saturated. This may be nit-picking,
but at this price (just over £1000) everything should be perfect.

Our Verdict:- A great machine - but for similar money we
prefer the  Sony VAIO VPC-L series - better screens, better
the top ten site logo
