| Located in a stunning building on the Falmouth harbour-side, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall is an absolute must-visit. You don't have to be a nautical-history freak to have a great time here. It should probably be called The Maritime Experience rather than museum. Everybody loves it here! You can mess around with radio-controlled boats - or take to the water for real on one of the museum's many boat-trips. There are several interactive exhibitions for all the family to enjoy. And you can learn about pirates, smugglers and wrecker that used to ply their scary trades along the Cornwall coast. This is a truly excellent day out - and every visitor to the Falmouth area should check it out. And if you are a maritime history freak - you'll have the time of your life here! |
