Sandymouth Bay
Sandymouth is an excellent beach, especially at low tide. There are acres of golden sand, patrolled by lifeguards. Sandymouth is a
wonderful family-friendly beach. The surfing here is good - but it is more suited to experienced surfers than beginners. Exercise caution!
Due to its relatively isolated location, Sandymouth never really suffers from overcrowding.
Facilities are limited, so bring a picnic!
The car park is run by The National Trust, and there is an attendant on site in summer = good security!
The only down-side is the steep walk from the car-park to the beach - not ideal for less mobile visitors.
