Trethorne Golf Club
Trethorne is an attractive, undulating parkland course, three miles from Cornwall's ancient capital - Launceston.
If you are planning a golfing holiday in Cornwall, Trethorne should definitely be on of your short-list.
There is comfortable accommodation available at the Trethorne Golf Hotel - right on the course.
Trethorne is also THE most accessible golf course in the entire county - just a few hundred yards from the A30.
In addition to being a terrific golf course in its own right, Trethorne makes the perfect base for a Cornwall golfing holiday.
Terrain = Undulating parkland. Lots of  mature trees. Lots of water hazards. Moderate-difficult walking (a few steep hills) hire a buggy!
Difficulty = A very fair test of golfing skill and power. One or two longish carries over water.  A course that most "proper golfers" will enjoy.
Condition = Very well tended. Excellent greens. Some parts of the course can get boggy during prolonged periods of rain.

Recommended for:
A perfect venue for a society golf day. An enjoyable challenge for mid-handicappers. Beginners and occasional golfers might struggle here, but for regular golfers
who have a fairly solid game, Trethorne is a great choice. Tip:- Hire a buggy if you don't like hill-walking!

Green Fees 2013 = Excellent value. And lots of brilliant deals on offer for visiting golfers - especially societies and stay & play.

Societies are extremely welcome - Trethorne is one of the best choices in Cornwall for a golf society day, or a stay and play break.

Clubhouse
Modern, comfortable. Includes a driving range and on-course accommodation. Good food in bar and in the restaurant. Staffed full-time.
