According to Callaway's notoriously over the top
marketing people, the Callaway XR 16 is the place
where forgiveness meets fast. The XR 16 driver, they
tell us, is the lovechild of Callaway's coupling with
aircraft company, Boeing.
In the recent past, Callaway have mated with other big
companies to bring us... "Technology found in Stealth
Bombers!" and... "Created by a partnership between
Callaway and Lamborghini."
Callaway, it seems, are happy to sleep around if it
helps them build better golf clubs. The question is,
are the clubs produced by these collaborations
better? Or is it all just a bunch of marketing hype?
The Callaway XR 16 is not a beautiful lovechild! It has
a kind of cartoon appearance - like something out of
a Batman movie! The Callaway Gotham City! But if it
