The Mizuno JPX 800 Driver was a massive hit with
just about all of our 100 volunteer testers when we
tested it around five years ago.
Designed to suit all golfers (a tall order) but probably
better suited to decent strikers.
Our low handicappers loved the balance, the sound,
and the strong, penetrating flight.
Almost all of our mid-handicappers found the JPX 800
more forgiving and more powerful than their current
drivers.
The only negative comments came from some of our
high handicappers who may have needed more loft -
(we used the 9 degree version for our tests, but there
are higher lofts available).
Our Verdict: A great driver! Looks good, sounds
nice, performs superbly, strongly built, and still a
match for most drivers on today's market.
