The Legends is a fabulous place for a
golf break, offering no less than six
award-winning courses - including the
highly acclaimed TPC of Myrtle Beach.
Each course has its own unique
character, and each provides a totally
different type of golfing challenge.
Our favorites are pictured above.
The accommodation here is wonderful.
Stay in the "Scottish" village, and
enjoy a wee-dram in the "Ailsa" Pub.
This place is like a grown-up theme
park - especially for golfers! I love it -
I could spend the rest of my life here!
The Legends
The Heritage Club

Myrtle Beach National
King's North Course
The West Course
The King's North Course and The West
Palmer, are just a sample of the golfing
pleasures on offer at Myrtle Beach
National. This is paradise for golfers -
the courses are fabulous, the scenery is
breathtaking, and the "deep-south"
welcome is delightfully warm - just like
the weather!
Long Bay
The River Club
If Vlad The Impaler and Genghis Khan
were golf course designers, you would
expect them to create courses like this!
But
Long Bay wasn't designed by
history's most diabolical sadists - it was
designed by Jack Nicklaus! I always
thought he was a nice guy - but I reckon
he must have a vicious streak, because
this course is unrelentingly tough!
Breathtaking - but tough!
With water on 15 holes, and over 100
bunkers to contend with, The River Club
provides an excellent test of accurate,
intelligent golf. If you simply try to
overpower this course - you will run out
of golf balls on the first nine holes!
But if you plan your strategy properly,
you can post a good score here.
A stunning place to play, and a must visit
if you are in Myrtle Beach.
