Mayrhofen enjoys a stunning setting in the beautiful Ziller valley.

Mayrhofen offers fantastic skiing and excellent après ski. Especially suited to intermediate skiiers.
The skiing in Mayrhofen takes place on two separate, sunny plateaux - the Penken and the Ahorn.
Both areas are very easily accessed via gondola and cable-car from the village centre.
The village is also connected by a free bus service to the huge Zillertal ski area including Hintertux Glacier.

Activities include bowling · sleigh rides · winter walks · tobogganing · skidoo rides · swimming pool · ice-skating ·
snow tubing · paragliding  and snow-shoe walking.

Apres ski is superb - and includes the fabulous White Lounge - a 6 metre high igloo set 2000m up at the top of the
Ahorn gondola. From outside the igloo bar you can enjoy superb views of the valley, or take a seat in one of the
cosy, candlelit lounges where fur covers the seats and snow carvings adorn the walls.
A welcome drink and a return gondola trip costs approx. €20 - last gondola down at 11.00pm. Don't miss it!
