| The technology used in most budget laptops was "state-of-the-art" just a short while ago. All of these budget laptops are perfectly capable of handling the same tasks as the latest general-purpose laptops. You will only notice any significant difference if you engage in mult-tasking - ie running several applications on your laptop at the same time. These budget laptops are great for Internet surfing, business use, email, instant messaging, listening to music, doing homework, word-processing, desktop publishing etc etc etc. In a nutshell - they can do pretty much anything that the more expensive models can do - but not all at the same time. |
